Gay Marriage I had a civil union in NJ in 2009, I am British and my partner is a US Citizen. She returned back to US, leaving me and my children behind because of politics and the inability to legally be there. We are now having to seek a divorce because I cannot be there and she does NOT want to be here. I hate the UK even though I am a Brit! – HUMAN RIGHTS count for NOTHING!
