The first book to be reviewed on The Believe Out Loud Bookshelf is “I Am Jazz,” co-authored by Jazz Jennings and Jessica Herthel and illustrated by Shelagh McNicholas. The book gives insight into the mind of a young child as she navigates through life living as her true self. Discussion on acceptance, family and relationships all come into play in this 32-page illustrated book.
