Jason was born and raised in upstate, N.Y. in a very evangelical charismatic Pentecostal church.  At the age of eight Jason knew he was gay yet saw the devastation it caused others as it conflicted with his church's  literal interpretation of the sacred text.

After many years of researching, talking to theologians, Biblical scholars, historians and traveling to churches nationwide, felt the need to assist in bridging the gap between non-Christian gays and non-inclusive churches.

Jason's blog reaches thousands nationally and internationally and spends much of his free time responding to questions from it.  Jason J. has been happily married going on eleven years with one child and another on the way
