Meet the Bloggers

Nijeeah Richardson is currently a MSW intern at the Freedom Center for Social Justice in Charlotte, NC. She will graduate in May with a Master's in Social Work at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC. Nijeeah is also a social justice workshop facilitator with the Transformative Teaching Collective, a cooperative based in Charleston, SC. At 23 years old she identifies as a young activist, a gender queer womanist, and a hopeful romantic. With an appreciation for empathy building and fierce resistance; as a social worker, Nijeeah hopes to bridge gaps between social work and the work of social movements and community organizing.
