Kris Guin is an intersectional LGBTQ and disability rights activist. They are the president and founder of Queerability, a national LGBTQ and disability rights advocacy organization run by and for LGBTQ people with disabilities. In addition to their work with Queerability, they are a Creating Change Coordinator for the Trans/Gender NonConforming Project with the National LGBTQ Task Force. Most recently, they were the Public Policy Intern with GLSEN. Previously, they were the Technical Assistance Coordinator with the Autistic Self Advocacy Network.

Micah 6:8 a verse that I meditate on and try my best to reflect in my life. The part that I want to focus on in this message is “to act justly.” That requirement from God is all-inclusive. It does not say, “To act justly except for LGBTQ people” or “to act justly except for people of color” or “to act justly except for people with disabilities.” It simply says, “to act justly.”
