8: The Mormon Proposition

Filmmaker Reed Cowan experienced first-hand what it was like to grow up gay in Utah in the Mormon faith. This film, while uncovering deep-seated homophobia in the Mormon church and the church’s financial support of California’s Proposition 8, is also deeply personal, relaying the stories of LGBT individuals, their Morman families and the struggle for reconciliation.
