Methodist Church In Georgetown Celebrates 25 Years Of LGBT Inclusion!

Today, we are thrilled to share an important milestone of Dumbarton United Methodist Church in Georgetown:
Dumbarton United Methodist Church will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the congregation's decision to publicly welcome gay and lesbian worshippers into its fold.
The church has invited Massachusetts-based minister Sean Delmore to deliver the guest sermon at the 11 a.m. worship service on Feb. 19.
"As a transgender man, I reject the dualistic idea of living with one foot in the world and one foot in the church," Delmore said. "Instead, I focus on the uniting, transforming power of grace to move the marginalized to the center in blessed community.”
