Believe Out Loud’s Million Strong Campaign is taking off!

The numbers tell one side of the story: 8,800 “likes” on Facebook; 38,000 views on YouTube; 85 news stories.

But the real story is found in the words:

“I haven't taken part in anything Christian for many years because of so much hatred. If more people would live your philosophy, the world would be a much better place!! Thank you.”

“I Love this :) I left my church because people in my youth group found out I was bi-sexual and they treated me diffrently and I quickly became the outcast. This gives me hope for a day when we all can walk into a church and nobody treats someone diffrently because of who they are attracted to..”

“I didn't know about this organization until about ten minutes ago. And for those ten minutes, I've been in tears of gratitude. You are TRULY salt and light. Thank you thank you thank you.”

These comments, along with dozens of others, have been made on facebook over the last week, beginning conversations between users that are inspiring, heartfelt and transformative. Literally, hundreds more have been shared in the blogosphere.
